(Ok, I deleted all my posts, and I'm gonna act now like I just joined, so please edit your posts if I'm in them. Ok Desu Ka?)
Makes me curious just how many posts he made that got deleted later. Three? Six? Ten?
High above Onett, a black hole of some kind appeared. A small green figure wearing a grey robe and holding a lantern and a Knife fell out.
It was Ton.
Just once I want to see someone say, "It was William Shatner."
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!!!!!"
[Crash, Bang, Crack, Boom, Snap]
"Ow, Eee, Ouch, Oof, Yow..."
Luckily for Ton, the tree he landed in broke his fall.
We already went over this, but it would be more likely to break his spine. Twenty times over.
Unluckily for him, it had also caught him by the robe and he was now dangling from a branch.
"Well, this looks like the place! Now to find some other people to see what I missed..." Ton struggled to get off the branch, but to no avail.
"Help..."
It's pretty easy to spot a bad and/or inexperienced IF writer by the way he'll immediately write his AC into a trouble spot and then cry for help (meaning "attention").

"I can't believe this!!" Tim shouted.
"It...can't be!"
"NNNOOOOOOOO!!"
Tim saw Ness's face in his, the face of the Devil's Machine.
"How...?"
"Do you think that Giygas could be defeted so easily?" "Fool!"
"?"
"I posses some of it's entity inside this body," Mani Mani replied.
I'm going to refrain from yet again saying "that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard," because he's just going to top it again within another post or two.
Mani Mani used Special Omega!
Mani Mani used Special Omega!
Mani Mani used Special Omega!
Mani Mani used Special Omega!
Just call it Rockin. "Special" doesn't even fit into the six character limit.
Mani Mani used Starstorm Omega!
"Thank goodness for rolling HP!" Tim said, quickly using Lifeup Gamma.
Mani Mani repeats attack pattern 1!
(which is 3 Special Omegas, and 2 Starstorm Omegas)
I think from here on I'm going to pretty much stop annotating Liyoshi posts until something happens in one.

Yes, this is another Liyoshi hops off the computer, Chris hops on special. Wow, suddenly Chris is interested in the Gathering again! I wonder why?
The sight that Juliana and Chris saw was more breathtaking than anything they had seen.
You mean the sight of--
Chris had been impressed upon seeing Saturn Valley's impressive canyons, and the Pyramids of Scaraba, and the beautiful moonlight reflecting off of Lake Tess. But this was beyond his wildest dreams. What he beheld was so incredible that he could only stare in awe.
Yeah, he definitely means--
All around him, trees a hundred feet high seemed to reach into the sky. Incredible mountains rose and fell all around, and emerging from and over the top of them were magnificent waterfalls. Indeed, above it all, was the sky. Except, instead of clouds or stars, Chris saw magnificent pillars of rock, intermixed with sparkling gems.
--oh. I guess not. But he's thinking it.
But what truly stunned him was the more mobile objects. The dinosaurs down here were incredible, some standing as tall as the trees, and looking across the land with a vague sense of curiosity. They slowly roamed amongst the land, occasionally munching on a tree or licking from one of the lakes formed by the waterfalls.
There are in reality no waterfalls in the Lost Underworld, just a couple geysers.
One Chompasaur passed so close that Chris couldn't even see the top of it when he looked up.

Finally, in a hushed, reverent tone, Juliana broke their silence: "I've never seen anything more incredible in my life."

"Nor have I. This is more beautiful than anything I've ever seen." Chris replied.
He's really writing the crap out of this scene to pour on the romantic atmosphere. You have to give him points for his writing effort, at least.
Slowly, the two of them walked together through the incredible world that was the Lost Underworld.
See if you can spot which word in this sentence is Chris's favorite in the English language right now.

Ton was still waiting for someone to get him out of the tree. A few people passed by but took no notice.
"Man, I wish someone would get me out of this tree. I can't feel my tail anymore!"
Kid, no one but Big Brother Lovestruck and Little Brother Look At Me has even posted since your last post, but the sooner you realize no one cares about you and get on with doing something, the more enlightened you will be.

It was night outside...
"Next stop, Fourside, to get Magnet Hill," said Osman.
Some people are just incapable of coming up with plot content on their own, and spend the entire thread following around the content generators. It's the natural order of things in IF.
"So we can, like, get Magnet Hill?"

"Yes."

"Hmmm... How do we get there?" Asked Siris.

Osman remembered the power of the Scimitar and wondered if it would work. closed his eyes and thought about Fourside. He formulated a picture in his mind of it. Although he had never seen it in real life, Fourside was his favorite town. He concentrated into the Scimitar. Suddenly, the reality around them started to bend and distort. It looked as if the air was rippling. It became so distorted that they could not be seen, and when it returned to normal they were gone.
It is a lot cooler than anything Liyoshi has done in this thread, you have to admit.
Osman,Alan, and Siris reappeared... right on the edge of the helicopter pad on top of the Monotoli Building.

"AAAAAAHHHHH!" They all yelled. They backed away from the edge of the platform. Then, they looked down.

Osman looked at the cars passing below him. He looked over and saw the Dinosaur Museum. He looked past that and saw what he was looking for... Magnet Hill, its radiant power still shining like a beacon at night.
Magnets don't really shine, but I guess Sanctuary power might. But if that were so awesome, you'd wonder why the millions of residents of a mega-city would allow an eight foot wooden fence to stop them from sampling that for themselves. So we must assume there is nothing obviously special about Magnet Hill at all, because no one except that weird peeping tom kid has ever bothered to take notice of what, to all outward appearances, is just somebody's junk-strewn back yard.
They went inside the Monotoli Building. Not surprisingly, no one was in Old Man Monotoli's office since it was nighttime. they went into the elevator and went down.
I wonder what became of poor old Enrich Flavor? Nobody ever remembers that guy.
When they stepped outside, they looked at the fantastic city. The tall buildings, lit brightly, seemed to stretch up for miles into the clear, pollution-free night sky.
I would love to hear how a city of Fourside's magnitude came to be pollution-free.
They walked into the empty street. They heard a swooshing noise behind them, then a thud...
They turned slowly. A monstrous... thing stood before them! It was standing upright. It had a furry body and dinosaur-like legs. It had huge claws, and a nightmarish face that had a maw filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth. It laughed, a freakish scream that echoed into the night air of the city.

"I must stop you now!" It roared. "My master Lavos commands it!"

The beast charged.
That's just like Lavos, never lifting a finger to do any of the dirty work himself.

"Er...leave, tonberry. This is MY Sanctuary now," Poo said before slicing Shrooom into two symmetrical parts. Off Poo went to the Rainy Circle Sanctuary.
Poo is even awesome at slapping away annoying kiddies. He provides only middling comedy value, but he's been the best poster of the last while, or at least the most readable.
After absorbing the power with his Sound Stone replica, Poo went into Stonehenge. "It's so peaceful in here," Poo said to no one but himself. "I think I'll give Luna a PSI call. No charge at all." Poo focused his PSI powers into his head and began talking to Luna via telepathy. "Hi Luna, this is Poo."
He's not really holding back with his Luna admiration. Chris should be taking notes.
"Hi Poo, uh...this is Luna." All of a sudden, Stonehenge shook as hundreds of Starmen beamed down into Stonehenge. "BEEP Human...WHIRR," said one Starman. Poo quickly ran out of Stonehenge just as a Starman blasted a beam at him. I'm outta here, thought Poo. Poo hopped back into the Skyrunner II and headed for Onett. "Titanic Ant, here I come!"
I don't know what the hell Stonehenge had to do with anything there.

I have no memory of this guy at all.
(Footnote: The Chris being added by me is a new AC and has nothing to do with the one already involved)
Then you should call yourself Chris S. or whatever, like Warrior of the Eye (remember him? of course not) did.
Chris and Nall teleported rather quickly to Eagleland island. "I hope we're not too late..." he muttered to his white dragon.

Nall was only extremely perky. "Relax. This actually feels COMFORTABLE to me. It's just like when I travelled with Alex!" Chris sighed as he endured one of Nall's long stories of how Alex was always late when he went to practice singing with Luna.
I don't know who the hell Nall is, I don't know who the hell Alex is (other than Alex is Luna's actual first name, of which StarmanDx is unaware) and I don't know what the hell Luna has to do with any of this. Just another fanboy, I guess.
********

Chris finally arrived at Onett. His first thought was, "Where is everyone?" He was just outside of Ness's House, near the meteor landing site.

Suddenly, Nall bursted forward. "What the heck are you DOING?!?!" Chris shouted.

Nall chimed in, "I want to fight this Runaway Dog!" Chris merely sighed.

• You encounter the Runaway Dog.
• Nall attacks! 1 HP of damage to the Runaway Dog!
• The Runaway Dog is making a loud, piercing howl!
• Chris whispered something to Nall.

"WHAT?! 21 HP?!?! I'm only dealing 1 HP per blow!" Nall whined.

"Tsk, tsk," Chris told him. "You should've equipped a weapon."

"But I can only equip Yo-yos and slingshots!!"

"Hang on, I'll get you some."

• Chris left the battle.
• Nall attacks! 1 HP of damage to the Runaway Dog!
• The Runaway Dog used a biting attack! 2 HP of damage to Nall!
• Chris ran back!
It's still better than the stuff Liyoshi does.
"Here, I got it," Chris said as he handed Nall a weapon.

• Nall used the Slingshot instead. 10 HP of damage to the Runaway Dog!
• The Runaway Dog is making a loud, piercing howl!
• Nall attacks! 13 HP of damage to the Runaway Dog! The Runaway Dog became tame!
YOU WON!

• Nall gained 4 exp.
• Nall's level is now 2!
• Nall's offense went up by 4!
• Nall's defense went up by 3!
• Nall's speed went up by 2!
• Nall's guts went up by 3!
• Nall's vitality went up by 1!
• Nall's maximum HP went up by 15!
• Nall's maximum PP went up by 5!
• Nall realized the power of Lifeup Alpha!
He forgot to make his IQ go up. Or maybe he wants us to believe his IQ is already the maximum possible for humans?
"It's about time," Chris sighed. "That was the longest Runaway Dog fight I've ever seen!"
Thank God the rest of us can just skip it. Which we did.
Nall got irritated. "What'd you EXPECT?! I was only at level ONE!!!"

"Whatever," Chris griped. (Whatever, (c) 1999, 2000 Squall Leonhart)
See? "Whatever" is something jackasses say.
"All that matters now is finding everyone else and getting informed on what's going on."
That means go back and read the rest of the thread before you post any more nonsense to waste my time with.

(Lavos isn't dead, to note you.)
I guess StarmanDx tried to make himself the sixth person or so to instakill Lavos, then went back and edited it after he got bitched out for it.
Dave kept falling. He landed in a tree, safe from death.
Dave sighed.
Yeah. Wow. We're all shocked he didn't die. (Note: Don't try this at home. Falling from a great height onto a tree, rather than the ground, will only make the job of cleaning up your remains even more difficult and disgusting for the fire crew.)
"Now to find Poryhedron!" said Dave. "I must deliver the antidote to him. Where's the Giygan Spaceship?"
I am giving a medal to whoever first points out that SS/MB has been operating two ACs since the first time he posted here. I really think no one--not a single person--has yet read any of his posts.

Meahnwhile Loid was back in.... wherever The Lavos nest was and it didnt look good...
"GUYS? Lavos laid eggs! And I think it's still alive an..."
Yeah. He's acting surprised not one living soul read more than three words of his last post. I'm pretty sure no one is reading any posts outside their own plotlines right now.
sudenly Lavos turned his attention towars him.
"(dont just stand there. Run!"
Kiyo ran as fast as he could, eventually geting stranded in a deep forest, he was forced to camp when it was to dark to see the trail.
"Ah man I might die out here..."
Would you mind? We would appreciate that.

You know, I'm hard on loid, but I should at least give him credit for keeping on going out there and doing stuff, even though no one is paying any attention to him. That rates him a cut above the rest of the kiddy klub.

Yeah. So he did not in fact make any effort to read anything else going on the thread. Prepare for yet another pointless solo post; those seem to be the rage right now.
After roaming around town with Chris knocking the enemies away with the Legendary Bat (as it seemed easier), Chris and Nall went to the Travelling Entertainer's Shack. "Are you sure about this?" Nall asked. "We haven't even visited the meteor site!"

"Well, let's see. The main town wasn't blocked off," Chris started. "The Sharks are singing Christmas Carols out of season instead of fighting. Want 100 other reasons this isn't like EarthBound for the SNES?!"
Hahaha! I laughed. That was good.
"Okay, okay!" Nall shouted, giving in. "But we still don't have the key!"

"We don't need it," Chris said, winking in a way similar to Nash (from Lunar).
ACs, needing keys! Rich indeed, rich indeed.
He pulled out a paperclip and began on the lock. "I learned this when I was training how to transform. Specifically, into Setzer Gabbiani. But most of the others, including Setzer himself, would complain if they saw me perform one of these, 'theif acts'. Except Locke, who called it, 'the Treasure Hunter's way of opening the door if you lose the key'.
Again, pretty funny, even if he doesn't know how to spell 'thief'.
But I know he's a theif." As Chris finished his story, he had finished picking the lock, and the two went through the shack, and on their way to Giant Step, the first "Your Sanctuary" location.

"But why Giant Step?" Nall asked, confused.

"Simple. It's the first place Ness visits in order to gain the strength to beat Giygas. Second, I somehow feel it's gonna be useful... And, the last reason is that it should work with this look-alike of the Sound Stone that came with our invitation."
Nobody else got Sound Stones with their invitations. That makes ChrisDx special. The only way we know this isn't Chris is... well, I don't have to to say it. You know.

[Tim...we require your assistance. We need the melodies...]
[Right away, Osman] Tim replied, sending Osman all the melodies except Magnet Hill, Fire Springs, and #9.
It's bad enough that he's drawing out an irrelevant one-on-one battle that no one cares about for five posts, but it's just really stupid that he's casually psychically communicating with other people and sending them melodies--however the hell that works--in the middle of it.
The Mani Mani Statue was showing no sign of fatigue, unlike Tim. Tim used another Diamond blast, but it only weakened the PSI Shield. The Mani Mani Statue started repeatedly mimicing all that Tim threw at him, and that was not comforting. It mimicked diamond blast, which was destroyed by tim's Psychic Shield.

"I grow tired of this," The Statue said, and suddenly-

Luna rolled over in the hotel room in fourside. Waffle, Luna, and Mog had had a great day sleeping, and they had needed some rest. It was still dark, but she knew somthing had woken her up.
There she goes with "somthing" again. Ahhh, the nostalgia.
Then she heard it again. A PSI call. Melodies. Somone needed the melodies, but they weren't calling her.
Somone is another Lunaism. She was big on conserving E's.
They were calling Tim.
"Maybe we can finally do somthing useful..." Luna mumbled, pulling the softly glowing sound stone out of her backpack. "Maybe we can end this once and for all..."
Yeah. Maybe not.
And with that, Luna ran out of the room and started banging on Waffy and Mog's door.
"Wakey wakey!" Luna yelled through the door. The door slowly opened to reveal a very tired waffy.
"Luna... It's 3 in the morning!! What's the idea?"
There is no way Luna would ever be asleep at 2:30 A.M., so this post is already patently absurd.
"We need to find out how to get to a guy named Osman. We can finally end this war againest evil!"
"Can't we do this in the morning?" Waffy grumbled
"No! We have to act fast!" Luna replied.
"Right. I'll go wake Mog."
Soon the three were on their way again. They walked out into the cold night air of fourside and looked at each other.
"Now what?"
Now..... we party.
"We send a PSI call to them asking for the location. The sooner we get there, the faster we get this over with."
Or we can do that, I guess. Partying seems just as good, though.

"One hundred books in just over five days. I'm sure bored," Anthadd groaned.
I'm pretty sure he already used that gag.
"And yet, I feel I am not performing to the utmost of my abilities -- Like something is missing."
Thinking about everything, he ran down a list of what he brought. "My hat!" he cried, and rushed out the door, hoping he could get it back from the Lumine Hall.
LOL. I laughed out loud for reals. That post was awesome.

(The character I'm putting in this post already introduced himself, so it's legal.)
That he went out of his way to insist his AC is legal instantly makes me suspect it's not.
TsuramiSea walked around the inland, seeing the empty hotels, gathering halls, and stores. He was excited, but kind of lonely that no one was around. Although he wouldn't be very sociable if he did meet anyone anyway. He decided to go in some of the buildings. The meeting hall had its empty podiums and chairs sitting about, with wrappers all over the floor. After three other buildings, he entered a really big building. He failed to see the sign, "Administrator Palace".
Now that way lies damnation. They feed intruders to guruzeth's ever-burning rage and hate.
*****

"Hmmm, this place is empty too. More fancy though," said Tsurami out loud to himself. Indeed, the carpet was fine and silky, and tapestries hung about. TsuramiSea peeked in empty rooms, some like offices, others like relaxation areas. TsuramiSea opened a door, seeing stairs leading down. It was a basement. Building up his courage, Tsurami plodded downstairs, and into the darkness. But there was a light switch, so some light came on.
The nobles/knaves divide that exists in any culture really pissed TsuramiSea off. This is his way of acting on it. And you know what? I'm actually reading this with interest. It's different from what I've been reading the last 400 posts.
A figure sat downstairs, in a throne, wearing a party hat. "Hello?" it called. "Tomato? EBounding? SOMEBODY? Why hasn't anyone shown up? This is ridiculous! So much for a great SM.Net gathering. I should've spent the ad banner money on prizes or something."

"Huh?" said a puzzled Tsurami. "Who are you? What are you doing down here? The party is outside on the island, you know."

"Nonsense!" cried the person. "The czar of SM.Net proclaims that the party is held down here! Well, it's supposed to be, anyway."

"Czar of SM.Net?" mumbled Tsurami.

"Yes! I am none other than..." The figure stepped into the light, looking very dramatic. "REIDMAN!"
reidman was God at starmen.net. Incidentally, now I see what Tsurami was referring to in his opening parenthetical: that reidman put his AC in the thread, so Tsurami can use him. Actually not a bad idea, since reidman posted once, 500 posts ago, and will never post again.
TsuramiSea's eyes opened wide, and he blinked a couple of times. "You're reidman?"

"Don't get too excited," said reidman dryly. "Why is everyone out there? Where's the rest of my staff?! Argh, this is the last time I hold a get-together....."

"Er, Chris, the moderator on the forums, told me that everyone discovered the real Eagleland and Foggyland and Chommo on the inside of the island," explained TsuramiSea.
Chris is an administrator, you little pissant.
reidman's eyes shot open. "What?!? They discovered the real EarthBound world here and didn't tell me! Now they will be punished by the tyrannical czar." He smiled eerily, and flames shot out of the ground in the basement.
Everything reidman said or did was always accompanied by a cool fire backdrop.
A voice whispered in the back of Tsurami's mind. You're in danger, stupid. RUN. "Er, well, I just got here, so I don't know the details. But since everyone's outside, you might want to consider coming out."

reidman looked thoughtful. "Yeah, not many people will find me down here." He looked at Tsurami. "Wait, who are you anyway?"

"I'm TsuramiSea."

"Oh, you," laughed reidman. "Well, a pleasure to meet you in the flesh." They shook hands. "I'll come up later. This damp basement is starting to affect my brain. Once I get vegitated enough, I'll come outside. But for now I'm staying down here."

"All right, Mr. Young," answered Tsurami.

reidman looked at TsuramiSea in a weird way. "Mr. Young? What's with the formality?"

TsuramiSea giggled nervously. "Oh, eheh, being the almight czar and all, I thought I should show some respect...."

reidman rolled his eyes. "Well, I am a co-webmaster of the biggest EarthBound site on the web, but I'm still a normal human, although a czar. Go easy on the formal talk."

"Okay. See you later, reidman!"

"Adios."

TsuramiSea climbed back up and decided to explore the outside party area and the coast some more. Continuing his search, he wondered if he'd run into anyone else.
Holy f--- that was a long post to accomplish absolutely nothing. Every time my hopes get taken high up into the clouds, the balloon pops and their guts get splattered all over the jagged rocks below. Sigh.

After a day of resting in the hotel, Juliana was starting to feel better. Her headache had passed, and she had spent most of the day on the beach, thinking about what had happened. Chris had spent a fair amount of the day thinking on his rock, too, but had also taken a bit of time to swim. Eventually, though, the two of them decided to set out for more adventure, though they decided that it would be safer to travel together.
Right. Safer. At least if you brought the--never mind. I hope you don't think my Chris gags are getting old, but, well... Chris is still writing exactly the same things he was writing back at post 50.
"So, where shall we go now? There are all sorts of interesting places." Juliana asked.
Like that line, for instance.
"Hmmm...somewhere with adventure...and somewhere we haven't visited yet...how about the Lost Underworld?" Chris replied.

"Sounds like a party!" she answered.

And so, they set off for the Lost Underworld. They might encounter dinosaurs, Tendites, and even visit the Fire Spring. They traveled through Deep Darkness, and made their way through Lumine Hall.
He's blowing through all this to evade Anthadd, who you might recall had set out for Lumine Hall. Chris does not want company on this trip.
After stopping briefly to watch their thoughts play out on the wall, they jumped down the hole to the world below...
I am almost positive it's a Bad Idea for Juliana to see your thoughts written on the wall. Or is it just me?

(Okay, I'm sorry I said that, and I'll try to act weaker and be less powerful.
That's so noble of him. I nominate him for a spot in King Arthur's court. We'll kick out somebody unimportant like Bors or something.
But you're not allowed to completely blow me off when I offer help. I don't want to end up like Foppy King, he was ignored so many times he killed his AC.
I'm already thinking that you ending up like Foppy King would be nice. Except Foppy King will be back, and so, unfortunately, will you, you whiny bitch. Foppy King was ignored because he never, not once, wrote any plot content. You're starting down the same path. That way lies damnation!
I'll delete all my prievious posts [after I asked if I could help] if you say I'm with you guys. Ok desu ka?)
I'm not sure Chris and/or PSI322 is going to give you the blackmail option, Junior. And even if it works, don't bet the ranch on them paying any attention to you.
(Oh yeah, and I wasn't going to defeat Poo in one hit, and I wouldn't be able to defeat Shrooom! in one hit. The only reason Everyone's Grudge worked so well on Trillionage sprout is that noone had defeated him yet, and he's [obviously] very, very old.)
Oh right... the Everyone's Grudge thing. That was Major Asshole, wasn't it? I wonder if he and t0nberry were working in concert (makes sense since Major Asshole brought up tonberries out of the blue just before t0nberry's appearance) or if they just both happened to be tonberry fans.
We'll give him a pass for that one, but his next post had damn well better have some decent content.

PSIOsman considered what to do for a moment. The most pressing thing was to defeat Lavos and go back to the SM.Net area so that they could PARTY. He wanted to, since he had missed most of the good stuff.
I really doubt that's going to happen, and I also really doubt that's what you want.
However, he remembered when he and Alan tried to attack Lavos. It had seemed that the only way to defeat him was to get all the melodies.
He would have been ushered into the Awesome Club if he had said something like "but Lavos was so powerful it was almost like he was an AC."
"Ok, people, three things. What melodies do we have, what melodies do we need, and how do we get them?"
Might want to check in with Liyoshi, he's the guy that's trying to gather together melodies. Not sure he'll want to share with you, though.

Falcon rolled his eyes. "I'm not waiting to kill that thing. It took over my mind, I won't let it happen again."

"I'll just take it out myself. Besides, I have no time to sit around while it's destroying the earth." Falcon took off through the underbrush towards Lavos.

"You're mine, Lavos. You took over my mind...and I'll make you PAY!!"
Dun dun dunnnn? I guess?

PSIOsman definitely has a habit of firing off three or four post bursts and then vanishing until the next day.
Osman looked at Falcon storming away through the underbrush. "Right...."
No, I think the "dun dun dunnn" sound effect was the right way to go there.
"Ok, so now what? We need the rest of the songs! Who can we get them from?" Asked Siris

"Dude, maybe Tim can like, help us out?" suggested Alan
SCORE! Great move! I love it when characters in stories written ten years past take my advice.
"Hmmm..."

Osman concentrated, using his Scimitar as a PSI antenna. He sent a psychic message to Tim...
Nice, the scimitar that does anything you want on demand. Never seen that one before.
"Tim... We require your assistance. We need the melodies..."

"Wow, cool. A PSI antenna. Can you teach me how to do that? "
There's a missing ;) at the end there. You know, just in case PSIOsman didn't pick up on the sarcasm.

By the way: 30 April 2000 was this annotator's 18th birthday. It was awesome, thank you for asking.
"Hahahahahahahaha!" laughed Poo as he emerged from the wall in Jackie's Café. "Falcon and his Sound Sapper, hahahaha!" laughed Poo some more. Then, coming back to the regular Magnet Hill, Poo rebuilt it with the power of Magnet Hill. Then, seeing his deed was done, and that he was not entirely evil, Poo scaled the Monotoli Building and got into his Skyrunner II. "Next stop: Winters!"

Poo landed right outside of Dr. Andonuts's lab. "No time to visit the good doctor," Poo muttered to himself as he headed inside the Rainy Circle Sanctuary cave. The giant mushroom who he had fought earlier was back and ready to battle once again. "My name is Shrooom! It rhymes with doom! And...uh...something else that rhymes with Shrooom!"
I'm pretty sure Shrooom! already got toasted by somebody else (Nathan or somebody?) These Sanctuary guardians regenerate like damn trolls.
Oh... right. After going forward a bit I realized he's going to Rainy Circle because that's where Luna's headed.

"Whoa!" Siris exclaimed as he shielded his eyes from the enormous blue light that seemed to be emanating from Osman's scimitar. "What was that?"
Light is not matter. It cannot be 'enormous'. Back to Adjective School with you.
"Scimitar of PSI," Osman murmured. "I understand now."
"Riiight," Siris said. "Anyway, what should we do now? I'm not much of a leader; I can't call the shots..."
Well, you could at least try to fake it like pretty near everyone else in this thread.

I think the entire point of this post was to say "Riiight..." to PSIOsman's latest work.

For a moment, Chris paused, trying to think of how he could leave Winters and return to the outer island.
But just for a moment. Such an elementary problem as this isn't going to keep the likes of Chris stumped for long.
Then, he remembered how he arrived here in the first place.
Finally. This should be good!
"Okay, the way I got here was through the forest that is north of the boarding school. That forest connects back to the beach eventually. From there, we could reach Onett or our favorite little village to visit." Chris said.

"Favorite little village...?" she asked.

"Good old Deep Darkness"

"Oh yeah. I forgot about all of our little adventures there. Come on, let's go back to the hotel though. I really need to lie down after that burst of PSI."
Then lie down in the snow, who cares? Chris will guard you. Makes no sense, when you need to lie down, to instead hike dozens of miles through harsh terrain first. What's wrong with the boulder she was lying on before this whole Frost Wolf thing got started? Besides it being a damn boulder, I mean.
And so, they started making their way through Winters. However, it was getting to the middle of the night, and the temperature was well below freezing. Before long, the two of them had to stop at one of the tents between Lake Tess and Snow Wood Boarding School. They found a few blankets and a lantern, and soon fell asleep.
You know Chris was thinking it. You know he was. It's freezing cold... we're freezing cold... small tent... you know exactly what he was thinking.
When they awoke the next morning, they found the temperature much warmer, and set off north again.
Hope they don't get swept away in the mega-flood all that melting snow will no doubt cause.
Within a few hours, they had emerged through the woods and back on to the familiar beach that was the coast of Eagleland Island. They made their way to the hotel, and decided to rest a day or two, and then decide what new adventure they might undertake.
Did you get all that? They got to the 90-degree comfort of the beach by walking north in Winters. And if you suggest Eagleland Island must therefore be in the southern hemisphere, I will respond: nuh-uh. Remember Paula's instructions to Jeff when he needed to highball it out of Winters to warmer climes? That's right: "Head south." But I guess you could suppose that was just so he could get the Sky Runner and then head north. So you win... maybe.

~~with OS~~
As the fight between OS and Lavos went on, they both were exausted.
"Ahh!" screamed OS. "I'm running out of power! PSI Spirit Bomb Omega!"
A ball of energy appeared, which was thrown at Lavos.
He teleported away.
So did the Spirit Bomb.
The Spirit Bomb was shrugged off, but a chryogen antidote flew at OS's head! OS grabbed it, and then ran out of power!
# OS reverted back to Dave!
Dave was now plummeting to the ground, 100 miles above Eagleland!
(Will he survive? Find out in my next post!)
That's called a teaser, by the way. Now we're all on the edge of our seats, nervous to find out whether the AC is going to survive. Aahhh!

(That's IT. I'm sick of it.
Holy crap. Luna's about to go Falcon24 all over somebody's sorry ass!
Ton, you are not the 'strongest' guy on the island. You're just making yourself to be that so people will add you to the story. I think I speak for several people when I say you're ruining it for everyone. It gets really annoying after the first few posts. And I believe one of the rules is no omnipotence, and no one-hit KOs.)
Right now you're thinking, "Wait, who the hell is Ton?" The answer is, Ton is a poster named t0nberry22 who is about to be introduced to us. He obviously made some extreme AC God Mode posts in which he one-hit KO'd Lavos (again; poor guy) and why Luna cares, I don't know. He must also have interfered with her plotting somehow. As you can conclude for yourself, t0nberry's offending posts were subsequently deleted.

As Poo entered the Moonside Museum of Natural History, he was amazed at the splendor of the neon-colored dinosaur fossils. "No time for sightseeing," Poo reminded himself. He headed to the far left side of the museum, but found no door. Could I be wrong? Poo thought. Suddenly, a gas station thing came up to Poo. "You-have-not-paid-for-your-ticket," it said before hurling a bomb at Poo. A split second before it hit him, Poo leaped out of the way. The bomb blew a hole in the wall. Inside the wall was a manhole. "Ah ha! This is it!" Poo declared as he climbed into the manhole.
Man, I really enjoy Poo's posts. I don't remember him being very good at IF, but he was.
What Poo found inside the manhole was a bright colored sewer filled with bright colored enemies. Of course, the enemies were tiny little creatures that Poo could kill with a stomp of the foot.
Again, Liyoshi should take notes on this expert handling of random battles.
Soon, he made it to the shining spot. "Welcome to this is not the Sanctuary location. Would you not like to challenge me? Or wouldn't you like to?" asked the Eugalp Art fo Mood (Plague Rat of Doom)
It's not funny if you have to explain it. Also, you meant Tar, not Art.
Poo started off the battle with a "PK Freeze!" The Rat brushed it off. "This is no way to do it," Poo said to himself. So Poo pulled out a giant mousetrap, and clapped it on the Rat. It fell over and died as Poo walked up to claim the Magnet Hill melody. "I got the melody!" Poo yelled excitedly.
Poo is awesome. I would spend four straight days reading 1,600 posts' worth of IF written by this guy. Or maybe reading all this Gathering has just dramatically lowered my standards?

Chris had been crossing Lake Tess on his way to the south of the continent of Winters when it happened. At first, it was a simple glowing of light in the sky, followed by a soft murmur. Seconds later, destruction rained from the heavens. Thousands of stars poured down from the sky onto some location in the southern part of Winters, and a great flash lit the night sky like daylight.
For a 16 year old that's pretty good writing. Give Chris his due on that, even if he was as obsessive as Tengu Man.
He was so stunned at the display that he could only sit, staring stupidly at the water below him, and the skies above. After several minutes, he slowly came out of his trance and realized he had reached the southern coast. About then, he saw a lone figure coming in his general direction. Before long, he saw that it was Juliana.
In Chris's world, Juliana is always coming in his general direction.
"Did you see that?!?" Chris exclaimed upon seeing her.

"Yeah, I saw it. I did it. I realized a PSI power." she replied in a humbled manner.
Humble. Also: Juliana is a PSI power.
"You...re...alized...PSI...oh."

And with that, Chris fell back into the boat, fainting at the stunning idea.

Several minutes later, he came around again, and realized that Juliana was guiding the boat back towards northern Winters.
Truth be told, Juliana would probably feel too bad about leaving Chris behind to freeze to death even if that was her first impulse, so his story holds up so far.
She explained how she had wound up against a Frost Wolf, and had prayed that something deliver her from death, and how suddenly, words had come from her mouth, and that she had caused all the comets to rain on the earth.

"Wow. I still can't believe that it actually exists. And I guess I'm a bit jealous; you discovered psychic powers before me. Still, that's incredible." Chris said after Juliana finished her little narrative.
Also give Chris credit for being apparently the only person in this thread to correctly identify PSI skills as psychic, not magic.
"So, where should we go now?" she asked.

"Well, on the one hand, this discovery of PSI is incredible, and perhaps we should persue it further.
You keep on after her the way you've been and she will probably end up providing another display, so yes, that's an option.
On the other hand, we've both had a brush with death now, and perhaps we might want to return to the outer island where it is safe. I guess it depends on what you want to do."
Man, can PSI322 really pull off yet another PSI322 gambit? It's a standoff now. Who's going to be the first to give in?

As Osman, Falcon, Alan, and Siris walked away from the Giygan ship, they pondered on what to do next. All of them had claimed the ninth melody.

However, Osman felt unhappy. He was entirely envious at the fact that Falcon and the others had enormous powers. PSIOsman had his swordsmanship skills, but that was far from supernatural.
OK... this is a little odd. PSIOsman must know that he can write himself superpowers anytime he wants to. The obvious next thing in this post would be him writing himself in some superpowers.
"Isn't it always the way," he thought to himself. "I'm never the one to get anything... sigh."

Suddenly, the Scimitar in his hand flared with blue light. Falcon, Siris, and Alan shielded their eyes from its enormous luminescence.
Pay the man!
The melody from the ninth sanctuary sounded extremely loudly, but only in Osman's mind. The light from the blade engulfed him. Suddenly, Osman understood. The reason why the sword had traveled with him to Magicant, had stayed with him even in the mind of Falcon...

The Scimitar was an extension of him. It was almost a sentient being, and it was linked to Osman in whatever destiny befell him.
We all realized that pretty much the first time you described it, really. This is not a new superpower.
The Scimitar was a conduit through which immensely powerful energy flowed, a conduit that Osman had control of. He had realized the true power of himself and the Scimitar of PSI.

(that may have been a rather pointless post, but I just wanted to give myself some extra power, seeing all those new-fangled PSI moves and powers)
He says that like we don't know.

(PSIOsman, don't be so jealous[I can't tell if you are], I'll forget all of those powers except Rainy Circle when this duel ends, whoever is the victor[I'm not commanding, simply informing])
Yeah, and you'll assign yourself fifty even more ridiculous superpowers. Can't wait to see what God Mode hijinks await us in this post!
Tim had to use Ally Teleport alot to evade Mani Mani's attacks. "Finally, some free time," Tim said, after succeding in Hypnosis on the Statue.
"Defense Up! Speed Up! Offense Up!(gee I love these Assist spells)Physical Shield(Power)!" Tim shouted.
Tim is definitely a budding D&D munchkin. I hope he realized his destiny before his youth was spent.
This awoke Mani Mani, and they engaged in the fierce battle once more.Tim quickly scarfed on a magic truffle which was provided by the Apple of Enlightment before the battle.PP Recovered, his HP dropped from a sword blow. "Life Up Beta!" Tim said.He then clashe dswords with the Statue, until realizing it had just copied itself 3 times."Now which one is real?" Tim asked himself. He was bashed from behind, and turned to attack nothing."Enemy Teleport!" Tim said, hearding all the Statues into one corner. He hit all of them with Rain, and found the central one to be real. He quickly Hydro Slashed it. "PSI Haze! PSI Starstorm!" Tim shouted one after another.
I don't know what to say anymore without repeating things I've already said twenty times. Nobody is reading this stuff. Let's just leave him alone. I can't remember the last time Tim posted anything that didn't involve him showing off his AC God Mode.

Juliana became very hesitant.
Yeah... I act surprised.
"Well, the whole reason I came here was to have fun, and an adventure on the side, perhaps," she began. "Still, I realize that I almost died tonight, and that a lonely miracle saved me. However, I can't depend on a miracle to come around and save me every time." She looked to Chris for help.
Awww! Man, Chris probably re-read that paragraph fifty times before he finally moved on. Gotta savor the moment.
"It's your decision, Juliana," Chris said to her. "Do you want to go back to the outer part of Eagleland Island, or would you prefer to travel through the inner part of the island instead?"
I do believe he said that already.
Juliana placed her right hand on her forehead and sighed. "My head hurts," she said softly.
Odd. She forgot to close her eyes gently.
"This has been too much for one afternoon. I think I need to go back to the hotel and take a nap, or something," she told Chris. "Maybe it'll help to recover my PP as well - I have to realize that I have PP now, if I used that psychic ability." She smiled and uttered the words once more. "PSI Comet Alpha - the miracle that saved my life." She paused. "I really should go back to the hotel."

Chris nodded. "If you want to return to the hotel, then that's what shall happen," he responded. "Let's get started, then. It'll be a while before we get back to the outer part of the island, out of the EarthBound universe."

"Wait a second," Juliana spoke up. "We're in Winters, remember? How will we get to the rest of the places around here? Winters is an isolated country!" She stopped for a moment to take a breath. "Do you have an idea, Chris?"
Um... how the hell did you get to Winters in the first place? I do remember asking that question 250 posts ago. It remains unanswered.

But more interesting: PSI322 has given up and decided to just hang out with Chris and hope help arrives. It's interesting because she could just quit writing on the Gathering--reasonable given what all the other writers are up to--but instead is humoring Chris. I surmise this is the point in time at which PSI322 was actually growing fond of the guy. Attention is always nice.

After hours of walking, resting, and pressing on, Juliana found herself becoming very tired. Her legs felt very heavy, almost as if it was impossible for her to lift her feet to take steps through the snow. Exhausted from her long day, Juliana made her way over to a large rock beside the trail that she was currently on and flopped down for a break.
What is it with these people and rocks? Rocks are not comfortable.
She tried to catch her breath and pulled her bottle of water from her knapsack once again. To her dismay, it was nearly empty. Juliana took one small sip and replaced the bottle in her knapsack.
Not that it's a problem. You're calf-deep in crystallized water.
Juliana's eyes opened wide,
Again!
and she raised her head in an alert fashion.
"Alertly" will do. She probably had recently been through the part of English class where they teach you adverbs are bad, and actually encourage you to write clunky prose like "in an alert fashion".
She'd just heard a noise that signaled to her that she wasn't alone in these woods. It sounded like someone, or something, walking through the snow. Was she just imagining things?

Unfortunately, the answer was no. Juliana gasped softly as a creature emerged from behind a few bushed about fifteen yards away from the rock where she was resting.
Holy crap guys, that's two PSI322 typos we've spotted in the Gathering! I feel like that's a genuine upset.
It resembled a Desert Wolf from EarthBound, only its fur was not brown, but gray and white instead. It had to be some sort of strange enemy that did not exist in the game, something that lived only in this unexplored territory in the Winters wilderness. It was probably called a Snow Wolf, or a Frost Wolf perhaps. That's it, a Frost Wolf, Juliana decided.
That's Juliana for you: something comes along to try and kill her, and her reaction is to muse about what its common species name probably is.
Wolves, you probably know, are pack hunters, and staying in a pack is definitely a good idea when you're hunting something that has incredible strength. But what the heck, the Desert Wolves fight alone, so sure, we'll suppose Frost Wolves do too.
However, as the Frost Wolf came closer, Juliana's thoughts became a blur to her. She had to attack this beast before it could hurt her, she knew that...
What's funny is that she has given no indication yet in this post the Frost Wolf actually intends to try to kill her. Maybe she's just launching unprovoked attacks on wildlife that's minding its own business.

Also, I'm putting it at T minus one hour before Chris jumps in here.

(Pikachu can still talk, just to tell you.)
With the Comm. Antenna… er… on head, Poryhedron used the antenna to relay Dave. He fill him in on Pikachu's freezing, Lavos, the PSI Poryhedron downloaded into him, Falcon, and all the other stuff he felt like telling. (I'm writing that so I don't get punted, "due to inactivity", trying to type the whole thing. And to signify Poryhedron using the Comm. Antenna, I'll use "[" and "]".)
Wow. Somebody actually admits he's only writing his post to stay in the story, and not out of any interest in writing something worth reading. Honesty is a step in the right direction!
[…And that's why you must become OmegaSpeedy or OmegaSpeedy+, to stop Lavos and save my, er, our friend Pikachu from permanent perma-chyo-frost!] concluded Poryhedron.
Dave did as he was told and used PSI Power Release Gamma.
Dave became OmegaSpeedy (abbrv. OS)
OS flew out of his room.
"Lavos," said OS, in a singsong voice. "Where are you?"
Lavos appeared.
Well, that was easy.
Is he seriously about to insta-whack Lavos again? If he weren't so oblivious I'd think he was trying to piss Falcon24 off.
"Gimme the cryogen antidote!" said Dave.
Lavos replied in an un-understandable languange, which was translated, in his internal translator, as "Never!"
The word he couldn't get hold of is "incomprehensible". It's the wrong word anyway, since it's immediately followed by everyone involved understanding the object.
Also: the cyrogen what now?
Just then, in a burst of 0's and 1's, OS's Lazer Saber appeared. OS turned it on its highest setting.
OS attacks!
20 hp damage to Lavos!
Ahh, damn. He IS smart enough not to try to insta-whack Lavos again. Yet.

Some time earlier, Chris had gathered his wits and resolved to return to the inner island. Adventure was what he wanted, and, having recovered from the temporary terror of almost dying, he was ready to go again. He had gathered his stuff, and, after having spent many hours on his rock, he had set off again.
You know, even for me sitting here and reading this ten years later, this is getting uncomfortable. What he wants, obviously, is PSI322. I can't imagine anybody that has been paying the most passing attention to Chris's posts is under any illusion otherwise; he has made it completely obvious without ever actually saying it. This is his first post with any plot content in 150 posts; nobody thinks it's a coincidence it happened immediately after PSI322 did the same. And I haven't read the next paragraph yet, but you and I both know exactly where Chris is going.
He had made his way through the forest that served as the boundrary to the fantastic world, and started wandering around. Soon, he had found that the temperature was dropping. However, it hadn't become nightime yet, and for several minutes, Chris was puzzled. Suddenly, he had realized he must be approaching the northern part of the island, where Winters was. Soon, he had stepped out of the woods and onto the frozen tundra that was Northern Winters.
I know, right? I'll give you a few minutes to get over the shock you suffered from realizing that, of all the continents in all the world, he walked onto hers.
At that moment, he felt two psycic calls. The first one was from Tim. He was fighting the Mani Mani statue and needed the melodies to defeat it. Realizing that he still possesed the sound stone he and Juliana had used, he sent it to Tim. He hoped that with the powers of Milky Well and Lumine Hall, Tim could stand a chance at victory.
I wonder whether that will satisfy Tim.
The second psycic call was also a plea for help,
He really thinks it's spelled "psycic".
but this one more desperate. He soon realized that someone was in danger near his location, and he soon set off for southern Winters, in search of trouble...
You have to admit, this really does seem like a Lifetime movie by now, doesn't it? No matter what she does, she can't shake loose of him. It's probably only a matter of time before Stockholm Syndrome sets in.

You'd think this means she insta-posted behind Chris, but no; seven hours separate these two posts.
Juliana jumped to her feet, her thoughts racing inside her brain a mile a minute.
Can't blame her for that. Getting stalked like that would drive me crazy, too.
As the Frost Wolf came closer, she knew that a plan was of the utmost importance, but what could she do?
Oh. She meant the Frost Wolf. I knew that.
Shutting her eyes tightly for half a second, she said a silent prayer that some way, somehow, she would get through this alive. If she could only survive this one confrontation, if something could help her through...oh, if only her prayer could be answered, she swore, then and there, that she would never do something so foolish again as to wander deep into the wilderness in a snow-covered land without proper weaponry or a group of companions.
Are you starting to get the feeling she doesn't intend for the "something to help her through" to be Chris, too? It seems to dramatic a way to welcome Chris with open arms. She must have something else in mind.
She opened her eyes. The wolf was now closer than he'd been before. Juliana looked up into the sky for a moment, her eyes sad and worried, and took in a deep breath, wondering if it would be her last.
She does remember she's an AC, right?
As she gazed at the sky, knowing that dusk was approaching, Juliana pictured the stars in her mind's eye, and at that instant, she wished with all her might that all the stars would come tumbling out of the sky, raining over Winters and defeating this beast...and saving her. She wanted to be saved...she wanted to be spared.
You have to admit, it might be overwrought but it's some fine, fine prose.
"I'm only seventeen," she whispered, tears forming in her eyes as she watched the clouds drifting by lazily.
Fact. She turned 17 a couple weeks before the Gathering began.
"Please don't let me die. I'm only seventeen..."
Veni, veni, venias
Ne me mori facias
Her voice trailed off.
Juliana squeezed her eyes shut and drew what was sure to be her last breath...and then she heard a sound, a loud sound unlike anything she'd ever heard before. It was just barely audible at first, but it became increasingly louder. Juliana felt the ground begin to shake beneath her, and she went to cry out in fear. She didn't know why, but the words that came out of her mouth were these: "PSI Comet Alpha!"
PSI isn't magic. You don't have to recite an incantation to make it work. It's psychic. But sure, I guess that's more dramatic, even if it's odd to shout seven syllables when facing imminent death.
Juliana gasped. Why had those words come from her mouth? Just then, she looked all around her and saw utter chaos breaking loose before her innocent, seventeen year-old eyes.
What is it with her and repeating every other sentence that she's 17? OK, you're 17, congratulations, can we move on now?
She ducked behind the rock and peered out at the scene that was unfolding so rapidly...shooting stars were crashing down to the ground before her, pounding the terrible Frost Wolf. Juliana plugged her ears with her fingers as the wolf yelped in pain...how could this be happening?
I still think the wolf was merely curious and PSI322 just slaughtered local wildlife for no good reason. And while we're on the subject, all those comet impacts are going to wreak havoc on the local ecosystem.
Soon enough, the comets stopped coming...the wolf, in turn, stopped moving, stopped whimpering, stopped breathing. It was dead, all right...and Juliana had done it. "PSI Comet Alpha," she whispered once more. She glanced up to the sky, and saw that the clouds had cleared. Staring hard, she could begin to see the stars. "Thank you," she said softly. Putting on her knapsack, Juliana started off towards the civilized part of Winters with a smile on her face. She was a PSI user...and it alone had saved her.
PSI322: The one and only IF author who ever provided an elaborate backstory for why her AC can use magic. As opposed to assuming that of course she uses magic, why wouldn't she?

I also like the "it alone had saved her", which I can only assume is a jab at Chris, who I will bet will not be deterred by it.

So, Waffle, Luna, and Mog got to Fourside for some shopping and relaxing. Luna opened up a big map of the city. "Hmm...Where to first...," she said showing it to Waffle and Mog.
"Well," Waffle replied, "It looks like they have a new deluxe mall here..." "I bet that'd be good," Mog interupted, "There's all different stuff there."

Luna folded up the map and put it in her pocket. "Okay, so we'll go to the mall."
They walked down a couple streets past a hotel, hospital, and other stores, to the back part of the city where the 'Fourside Mall' was standing.
"Looks pretty nice" Waffle said looking up at the many floors of the building above.
"Yeah, wonder how many stores are in there..."
Mog walked forward towards the door. "Alright, but are we gonna go in? C'mon lets go."

So, the 3 of them walked into the mall...
I presume this is different from the Department Store you could enter in the game, since they're going out of their way to call it a mall and waffle and Luna have in fact played EarthBound. And you know, it's actually nice to have some ACs doing some random mundane stuff rather than trying to save the world from crossover destructo-aliens.

While all this was going on, Kiyo had become seperated from Anthadd and got lost. He was wandering around when he found lavos, and about 300,000 lavos eggs.
"Uh oh...Uh Ant? Juliana? Somebody?"
Wow, haven't seen ol' loid in a while. And you know, what's amazing is loid actually introduced a potentially important plot development, at least if you're into this whole Lavos thing. Think of it! 300,000 Lavoses running around needing to be killed! We can stretch this baby out for years.

Speaking of people who haven't posted in a long time but I was fine with that.
"Dude!" I said and looked around.
I was wearing my school's orange Track Team uniform and looked around. I was in my own little land.
"What were those drugs I've taken?" I wondered and walked down the walkway.
Rule violation right there. Boom goes the hammer of justice!
I met my mom and my sis, and of course my dad.
PsycoPyro has apparently forgotten to even try to disguise his writing style while writing on the Queen Catherine account.
I continued to walk the walkway and I came across some land with a poke-a-dotted floor.
I hope that at some point in his adolescence PP/QC figured out that it is in fact spelled "polka".
I saw friends that I haven't seen in a long time, staring at me. Then, I found a little girl, playing by herself with a stuffed dolphin no one around. As I approached the girl, I recognized her face. It was me when I was about seven years. It was the me who was the quiet, shy, lonely, and anti-social being. I had hardly any friends because I was picked on since I was shy. Most of her friends had move away and went to other far away places.
Oh god, here we go on a journey into PP/QC's lonely childhood and why his life sucks.
I walked away from the girl and walked up the walkway. Then I heard voices that were laughing.
"Someone likes you." The voice laughed and echoed. "And he's going to get revenge of you! You will find him in the Sea of Eden!"
I ran into a house and found no one in it, but a few presents. Since I was wandering around inside my head, I figured that the presents belonged to me.
That's sound logic.
I opened the three gifts and found a CD Player with No Doubt's new CD abulm in it, a Hunting Bow, and deadly arrows with sharp arrowheads.
Then, I left the house ran into the direction where the "Sea of Eden" was located. Because of my incredible speed, I ran past enemies that were after me.
Wait. I thought incredible speed was already spoken for?
Then, I climbed down a rope and found myself standing in murky green water that was up to my hips.
"Great! My Track uniform is ruined! Now I have to pay Three-hundred dollars to replace it!"
I really, really hope that no one ever had to pay $300 for shorts and a tank top. Maybe you can get there if you include the shoes, socks and cup. (Or, if we prefer to play along with PP/QC's fantasy about being a girl, sports bra.)
I ran (or at last tried to) in the sea and avoided three Krakens. Then, I saw a tall, figure figure standing on the island with a long object in it's hand. Mist surrounded the figure, making it difficult to make out who it was. As I slowly approached the island, I recognized who the figure was. My Ex boyfriend "Bobby" (Let's call him that for now) held a steel baseball bat. His clear, blue eyes narrowed and his lips curled into a sinister grin.
"Hello, Jenny." He said with a sinister voice. "I can control you part of mind.
It's hurting my brain just figuring out what exactly he was trying to communicate when he typed "I can control you part of mind."
You thought you could trust me and help me with my problems. All what you did was interferred with my life! I got you friends on my side of the battlefield and where are yours? You poor girl.. you can't even defend yourself."
"This is the guy I have to fight to get out of here...?" I asked aloud. "Wonderful."
"Wrong." Bobby said. "Looks who's behind me."
He stepped aside, revealing a Mani Mani statue. I knew that this was going to be a burtal, painful battle.
OK, 16 Mani-Mani Statues.
And since I know you're curious: the Battle of Burtal (14-15 June 1843) was a major turning point in French Guyana's unsuccessful bid for independence from their Italian oppressors. (The French had given it to the Italians in the Treaty of Romano Pizarro in 1838; historians believe one of the major contributing factors in the Guyanan defeat was that they didn't even realize they were supposed to be killing Italians until a week before the Battle of Burtal.)
